Educational Qualification: B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering
Experience: 4 years – 6 years
Work collaboratively with software engineering and IT to deploy and operate our systems; as well as help automate and streamline our operations and processes.
Maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our production environments.
Monitor systems to ensure maximum up-time and quality of service.
Provide internal support and scalability for our continuously evolving environment.
Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to evolve operations best practices.
Innovate, develop and maintain a scalable highly automated proactive/preventive management of the environments.
Innovate and automate customer-experience related concepts such as executive and operational dashboarding and reporting
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
2+ years’ Linux Administration/DevOps experience.
Basic Networking understanding and capabilities
Set up and maintain monitoring systems and alarms for production environments.
Demonstrated expertise with Linux commands and overall Linus administration experience
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
ITIL Foundation Certified
Experience with configuration management using New Relic
Experience with VMware virtualization products such as ESX or vSphere
Experience working in production level environments.
Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all cloud
Ability to perform cloud account management
Experience with IT infrastructure administration services
